i am pretty sure that i need to work on all of these, so that by the end of the year, i will be an expert in all of them.

rediscovery

so, i just rediscovered ingrid michaelson.  can i just say that i love her?  she's amazing.  i love her songs: lyrics, melodies, everything.

bridal showers and wedding receptions

my roommate and friend, leah, got married a few weeks ago, and after her honeymoon, they had another reception for those who couldn't make it down to arizona for the first one.  it was such a lovely party- s'mores, candles in bags, a beautiful back drop, and of course them- both beaming.

ok, so we're a few weeks into september now.  but what's the weather like?  oh, i'll tell you.  it's 88 degrees today.  yes.  and tomorrow it's going to be up to 90.  yeah.  come on fall. how am i supposed to wear my adorable sweaters- both cardigans and dresses- without you!?
