Friday: Twelfth Night at the Wyndham's Theater. Such fun! I invited my friend Lana to come. (She leaves so soon! I'm actually really sad about it, cause I keep becoming friends with people, then they leave two months later.) The play was amazing. The seats were pretty great, too. I love being able to brag that I was six feet from famous, famous actors and actresses. Can't wait for Jude Law to play Hamlet!
Saturday: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Alright, I don't know why I didn't like this movie, but I just didn't. I have a feeling it was a mixture of it starting out slow, Brad Pitt taking himself seriously (honestly, Brad, you're not that deep), me being in a bad mood from public transport, me seeing an advert for a Nicholas Cage film (I hate- I mean, dislike- that man), and the fact that I heard from my Salon owner that it was "A rubbish film." I really is slow, and way too long. Brad Pitt's voice irked me. The old man in love with the young girl creeped me out (I don't care how young you feel!). I just didn't get into it. If I could get into it, and invested in the characters and stuff, I wouldn't have minded the INCREDIBLY cheesy, cliche, corny speeches about how age is just a number, yada, yada, yada. Custumes were great though, and the film did have it's moments of likableness- not brilliance though.
